Hovik Martirosyan, a sophomore at New York University Shanghai majoring in Data Science, continues to demonstrate outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements. He successfully completed the first semester of his sophomore year with excellent results in courses such as Chinese, Linear Algebra, Global Transportation, and China's Economic Transition. His strong performance reflects his dedication to maintaining academic excellence.
Currently in his second semester, Hovik has successfully completed the first half of his coursework with strong midterm results. This semester, he is enrolled in Multivariable Calculus, Machine Learning, Chinese, and AI for Business—courses that are both intellectually stimulating and highly relevant to his field of study.
Beyond academics, Hovik remains actively engaged in extracurricular activities. As a member of the Board Game Club, he has played a key role in organizing international and Chinese board game tournaments. Additionally, he has excelled in chess, winning multiple tournaments and expanding his skills by mastering the Chinese version of chess. His commitment to both academic and personal growth highlights his ability to thrive in a diverse and competitive environment.
The support provided to Hovik has been instrumental in enabling him to continue his education at one of the world's leading universities.
