Support for Changes livelihood of Disabled Women

                                                   Gift us for the Women Empowerment

Hamida (Unkown) is a Women with Physical handicapped who has high ambitions and with dreams to involve in Community development process. She lives in Muslim family with her husband in village of Kandhirgram under Bahadurabad union Dewangonj upazilla,Jamalpur district and it is northern part of Bangladesh.

Her husband is a poor day labor work with Local Bazer. she have a small hut. She is most vulnerable and she always looked down upon, neglected and deprived of most of their basic human rights in the family. She is faces hard core poverty. She have only one son to her family. Organization trained her several training course on Leadership from Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) for capacity building. After receiving training she formation Locally Disable Self-help group (SHGs) in her village and working with them since 2010. She is started tailoring work and provide to other disable Person with Adolescents and women and motivated to involve for income generation activities. She also involved in mainstreaming development activities in the community like prevent early marriage, awareness raising on disability issues, try to inclusion in community development activities. In the mean time trying to educate to her son and successfully complete to his study and now her son got a job and work, her Family is running with her son income and she is express to happiness and proposers.   Beside she started home stead gardening through our organization support and she always trying to earn for support her family.

On the 3^rd December 2022 Observance of IDDP (International day of Disable persons) International Development agency of CBM Global Bangladesh given honored & Awarded grass root level leaders Women with Physically Challenged to Mrs.Hamida Akhter ,Chair/Leader of “Ekota Protibandhi Self Help Group” ,Jhalochar, Bahadurabad Union, Dewangonj Upazilla , Jamalpur district for Contribute Inclusive Development in the Community. On behalf of the Organization we are proud to honored the carried over activities. We are Thanks to CBM Global Bangladesh for inspirational & motivational awarded to grass root level leaders of the Communities. Here with our appeal to support to us for carried over the program for Inclusive development and sustainable community.

 In this issues and recovered the Challenges she wants to individually sponsor for increasing her implements development activities for others women with Disabilities in the community – Goat farming or Cow farming (need daily  poultry food, Vaccine), home stead gardening in house. If we collectively support to Women & Adolescent girls with Disabilities they will earn for themselves and economic burdens of the families will be reduced and she have achieve empower in the family and enjoy dignity.

Finally we are requesting our supporters/ donors for support to her and hope collectively support will help to our project women for changes their livelihood and achieve empower in the family and society.

If we support for financial empower in the family in order to make them capable to a lead successful life. Around 100 Women with Disabilities will empowered and would be able to have a healthier life and they will well informed about internal and external threats of life and future challenges.

     Donation need for increasing Livelihood & Empowerment

Kalpana (anonymous) women with disabilities    who has high ambitions and with dreams to involved and earned money from grocery shop one day. She lives in the rural village of Bahadurabad union sarderpara part of Dewangonj upazilla under district of Jalmalpur in Northern Bangladesh. She is lives in poor family and she is received   grocery shop management training ,tailoring training and goat rewire training and Home stead gardening through our organization and she is involved as a earning member of the family from grocery shop operation .Her father is a poor day labor and have a small hut. She is one of the beneficiaries our organization and she was most vulnerable and always looked down upon, neglected and deprived of most of their basic human rights in the family. She is faces hard core poverty. Now she is earning member of her family .Family members and community people respect to her dedication and contribution to her family.

Our areas Disable women are neglected in the family and society and they are not involved in development activities in the community due to their limitation of capability Situation remains more or less stagnant till now. Situation remains more or less stagnant till now. And it is further worse in remote village locations where families living in vulnerable condition. If we to bring the rural women under development services are found much effective in the rural areas. In this issues we have challenge to overcome the situation ,if we find out and support individually sponsor for their implements development activities – grocery shop operation, home based small poultry ,home based Goat farming (daily food and Vaccine) and home stead gardening in house. If we collectively support to Women & Adolescent girls with Disabilities they will earn for themselves and economic burdens of the families will be reduced.
