Dear our valued donors,
In this report, I am delighted to share with you the highlights DeafNuri’s recent "Barrier-Free Seminar" held on July 16th, 2023, at the SKY31 Convention Auditorium.
This seminar, A first of its kind in Korea, brought together individuals from deaf-muteness diverse backgrounds and countries, including Korea, the United States, Morocco, Colombia, and the United Kingdom, to share the barrier-free situation in their respective nations.
The contents of the event can be summarized into two key sentences.:
"I must first secure my rights."
"Barrier free is not just for disabled people, it's for everyone"
The participants were able to have time to recognize and respect the rights of ourselves and others and to think about our role in creating a barrier-free environment in our daily lives.
Notably, with an impressive turnout of 114 attendees, the seminar showcased the significant demand and enthusiasm for such initiatives.
Moreover, meticulous attention was given to ensuring inclusivity throughout the seminar, with services such as text interpretation, Korean sign language interpretation, Korean voice interpretation, and international sign language interpretation, ensuring that no participant felt excluded.
I am proud to announce that the "Barrier-Free Seminar" concluded successfully, garnering enthusiastic responses from attendees who appreciated the meaningful dialogue and inclusive atmosphere fostered throughout the event!
At DeafNuri, They remain steadfast in our commitment to building a world where everyone can participate fully and equally. None of this would be possible without your unwavering support. Your generosity continues to drive our efforts forward, making a tangible difference in the lives of many.
DeafNuri, again today
Will build an inclusive, barrier-free world for everyone
Once again, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your continued partnership and belief in our vision. Together, we are making strides towards a more inclusive future.
With warm regards,
Eunbi Park.
