Drinking water for everyone!!

Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is working with coastal people life and livelihood improvement from 2010 but officially working for the south western coastal region people from 2011. From this time, BEDS was trying to solve the safe drinking water crisis. In those cases, established different Solar based Pond Sand and Filter (PSF) System. For ensuring the best quality of water at Sundarbans coast, BEDS has installed Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification systems run by the solar energy. BEDS along with the local community functioning the community based social business for safe drinking water service. Water ATM card has been introduced in this system to run the business smoothly.

Initiative of sustainable safe drinking water supply and management create a model that fulfill the drinking water demand and on the other hand run a business model for the community people. We reach out to our generous donors for support, so that together, we can continue this water supply for the community people of surroundings villages too.
