Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is working with coastal people livelihood improvement from 2010 but officially working for the south western coastal region people from 2011. In south western coastal region of Bangladesh are always facing the crisis of safe drinking water and to solve this crisis BEDS working relentlessly. Producing 42000-liter safe drinking water per day which is carrying by van for the long-distance people. Community women are carrying this for their daily purpose. BEDS under the initiative of cooperatives are selling this in a minimal amount like 0.5 paisa per liter where 12000 people are getting this facilities.
Initiative of sustainable safe drinking water supply and management create a model that fulfill the drinking water demand and on the other hand run a business model for the community people.
