Safe drinking water is a most and foremost demanding issues in all over the world. But if we think about our developing country Bangladesh, it’s a riverine country and its southern part is coastal area where salinity intrusion is increasing day by day because upstream fresh water flow is low. In that case salinity is severely affected the southern part. In these crucial moment, BEDS (Bangladesh Environment and Development Society) implemented nature based solar water treatment plant that produce fresh water for the community group and also villagers collect this water in jar and distribute these in the far distance community. That satisfy the water demand and also create a livelihood opportunity for the community.

BEDS is trying to ensure the demand of water for all over the region but working in a specific area because of some limitation of funding. Welfare organization is always trying to scale up safe drinking water supply in southern part of Bangladesh. Hunting the opportunity where the support for the safe drinking water so that can be ensure the universal right.

We reach out to our generous donors for support, so that together, we can continue this water supply for the community people of surroundings villages too.

We would like to thank all our donors for their amazing and continuous support for the coastal deprived people. We are requesting all our donors to start monthly recurring donation by clicking the following link;
