Livelihood for farm
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your kindness and generosity in supporting our project helping those who are affected by the earthquake. Moving on and establishing new life and livelihood is proving to be very difficult for the affected families because this is aggravated by the Coronavirus pandemic. Even the remote barrios are affected and the lock-downs imposed by the authorities proves to be very difficult for the economic activities of farmers. Supply food chain is broken and market of farm products become erratic. This reporting period we were able to provide farm-based livelihoods to 145 farming families by the distribution of vegetable seeds, piglets, organic fertilizer and small farm equipment so that farmers become sustainable in their food production.
Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora

Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous donation to our project supporting earthquake affected families in Southern Philippines. Most of the affected families were able to return to their homes by now expcept for a few who are still in the evacuation centers because their places were deemed by the government to be unfit for habitation with massive cracks in the mountains and the ocurrence of landslides is very real. With the returning families, we started to train them on vegetable gardening because this is one of the easiest way to have immediate supply of fresh foods. We also provided them with organic fertilizer comprising mix of carbonized rice hull, animal manure and coconut peat. We are able to assist 300 families in this manner. Hoping for your continuing support to our initiative.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora

Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative assisting those who were affected by the earthquake in Southern Philippines. The damage caused by the main tremor and then by subsequent aftershocks damaged a lot of houses and there are some barrios where 80% of the houses were totally damaged and no longer fit for habitation. During this time while we are assessing where to install our latrines, we are providing hygiene kits comprising bath and wash soap, toothpaste, toothbrush and feminine pads. We are also providing some heavy duty tarps for 3 schools in Tulunan for their makeshift classroom as the concrete buildings have the danger of collapsing. The need is indeed very great as the damage is extensive and we need all the help we can. Hoping for your generous support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
