Academic Progress
From March to June, students successfully completed the National Academic Competency Test (TKA), final assessments, and graduation requirements, with sixteen students graduating this semester. Report card meetings strengthened partnerships between teachers and parents, while the Student Council (OSIS) election resulted in a Grade 11 Manikaji student being elected OSIS President for the 2026–2027 period.
Collaboration with Green School Bali
From March 4–6, EBPP partnered with the Green School Bali for an environmental education program at Manikaji. Students explored hydroponic farming, recycling, creative art activities, educational posters and educational games and also playing a major role in helping repaint Manikaji school. Green School also donated two clean water storage tanks, improving students' access to clean water and promoting environmental awareness.
Celebrating Balinese Language Month
Students proudly participated in this celebration with outstanding results! They won first, second, and third place in the Balinese storytelling competition, first and second place in Balinese script writing, and second place in the Balinese chant competition.
Success in Sports
Students proudly represented Manikaji in regional student sports competitions, with Grade 6 student, D, advancing from the village level to the provincial championship in Pencak Silat, earning third place at the provincial level after winning the sub-district and district competitions. His achievement reflects determination, perseverance, and confidence.
National Education Day Celebration, May 2nd
Students celebrated National Education Day by earning first place in elementary and junior high academic quiz competitions, third place at the senior high level, first place in a painting competition, and third place in chess. They also showcased their talents through modern and traditional music performances, singing the song “Dream” and presenting an original poem.
Dryland Regenerative Agriculture
All junior and senior high school students continued caring for the school’s learning garden by producing organic fertilizer and maintaining their many crops. Their efforts resulted in successful harvests of tomatoes, eggplants, long beans, and leafy vegetables, giving them practical experience in sustainable agriculture and food production.
Music and Art Activities
Students continued developing their creativity through music and visual arts. They practiced both modern music and the traditional Balinese bamboo ensemble, Cungklik, and proudly performed during the National Education Day celebration on May 2. In visual arts, students explored drawing through themes of nature, animals, and human anatomy, strengthening their creativity and confidence.
