FOREFRONT Education Quarterly Report - May 2023

FOREFRONT School in Kolluru, India, successfully completed the academic year on April 28. Starting in July 2023, the school will cover grades Pre-K to Grade 4! During the previous quarter, FOREFRONT completed the enrollment of a new set of 25 students to allow for the expansion to this new grade level starting next academic year. When school starts again, FOREFRONT School will provide quality education to over 180 students. We are grateful for this consistent annual expansion over the past three years since the school's launch.
While students are on summer vacation, FOREFRONT is renovating the school to install a new library where students can benefit from an open and accessible location to read and connect with one another. Also, in the leadup to the new school year, FOREFRONT will be onboarding and training new teachers to lead the new classes. Third and fourth-grade classes require a transition from teachers who generally cover all subject areas, to teachers who specialize in particular topics (science, math, English, and Hindi). To accommodate this period of growth, FOREFRONT has restructured the classroom experience so that students receive a comprehensive education.
Finally, FOREFRONT is happy to announce that it just completed its 8th anniversary! We are grateful for our donors' constant support as we serve underprivileged children in Andhra Pradesh.
