FOREFRONT School Education Update - August 2024

By Matthew Lawson | Monitoring and Evaluation Lead

FOREFRONT School third floor construction progress
FOREFRONT School third floor construction progress

FOREFRONT School continues going to the next level (literally!) as construction on the third floor progresses. Construction has moved at a steady pace and the current state of the school can be seen in the above picture. Construction is estimated to finish by end of year. The third floor is currently funded at 69%, with about $110,000 remaining to finish. We are grateful for your donations that will enable FOREFRONT to provide education for ~360 students from Pre-K to 10th grade.

The third floor will serve students from Grades 7 to 10 and include an auditorium for school assemblies and gatherings. With this school expansion, students will be able to attend FOREFRONT School up through entering college. As a result, no further expansion will be needed after this and students will not need to travel significant distances to continue their education. In addition, this expansion will enable FOREFRONT School to acquire the formal accreditation that will give our students a formally recognized high school diploma so they can attend college and/or get a skilled job.

Even as construction continues, FOREFRONT School is in session and providing education for 235 students across 8 grades (Pre K to 6th grade). Here are some pictures from the school year thus far.
