FOREFRONT School Education Project Report

FOREFRONT School is in full force planning to take education to the next level (literally!). This quarter FOREFRONT organized a professional development session for its school teachers to continue to develop their pedagogical skills. At the same time, FOREFRONT’s education project is progressing to support even more students through expansion to Grades 7 to 10. Here are more exciting details:

Why we are growing

FOREFRONT has recruited qualified teachers and teaching assistants to provide constructive instruction, empathetic leadership, and inspirational guidance to students. Through supplemented tuition, FOREFRONT School has especially incentivized education for young girls who face unique barriers and underrepresentation in India’s education system. In addition to providing a quality education, FOREFRONT School has also become a pillar within the community and serves as a location for community engagement. 

Because of the education quality and positive word of mouth, the demand for registration at FOREFRONT School has increased, including a waitlist. Building off this tremendous growth and momentum, FOREFRONT is planning to construct a third floor for its school building to support quality education for secondary school students up through entering college. As a result, students will not need to travel significant distances to continue their education. In addition, this expansion will enable FOREFRONT School to acquire the formal accreditation that will give our students a formally recognized high school diploma so they can attend college and/or get a skilled job.   

How will we grow

The picture below represents the layout that FOREFRONT has proposed for the third floor. The third floor will accommodate 30 to 35 students for five new grades, as well as provide an additional conference room area as a dedicated location to convene and host activities, training sessions, school assessments, and other events. With the additional space, the school will be able to enroll a total of ~360 students from Pre-K to 10th grade. The new space will complement the existing space on floors 1 and 2, which include a combination of classrooms, a library, a computer lab, and student support facilities. 

Pending the raising of funds, FOREFRONT seeks to start third-floor construction later in 2024. We appreciate your support in making this growth possible!
