Food Security Crisis in Afghanistan: Latest Figure

Based on the assessments shared by the international organisations and the life of normal people around the cities and in the villages, the situation is dire: every province in Afghanistan is experiencing crisis or worse levels of food insecurity. Over half of families do not have enough food to eat each day. This includes vulnerable communities facing emergency levels of food insecurity, with women increasingly being pushed out of public life and into further vulnerability. Given decades of conflict the country bears millions of widows and orphans. However, today, the half of the population of the country is not allowed to have a formal employment.

Food assistance is often the last lifeline for women and families struggling to survive. Your generosity can do more than make a difference—it can save lives. AfD is committed to being your active partner in delivering food in Afghanistan with a focus on widows, orphans, disabled families.

Despite significant security and logistical challenges, we are on the ground delivering food and nutrition assistance to those displaced from their homes. However, to reach more families, we urgently need your help. Immediate food and humanitarian assistance are crucial for the survival of countless families in Afghanistan.

Your donation will enable us to provide life-saving meals and support to children and families in need. Our work is entirely funded by voluntary contributions, and every donation has a profound impact. It only takes a minute to donate, but the benefits can last a lifetime.

Make a secure donation and help us provide humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan. Your support is vital in these challenging times.

Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
