Dear Donors,
Hammerslag School Uganda is a private School in Pallisa Uganda. It was founded in 2012 and constructed with the help of a single Family and their friends in America. Our main Donors: Mother Loretta, Mr Gary and their Children, Jenna and Jake.
It’s managed by SHARE NGO. Building a school in rural Uganda to ensure that underprivileged children have access to quality education that will prepare them for future leadership and academic success.
Since 2014 our school has been providing holistic quality education to students from different backgrounds. Street kids, Disabled, orphans and vulnerable children presently sleeping in the classrooms dirt floors. No Mattresses, Blankets. they sleep on mats.
The school has earned stellar reputation for treating all students equally irrespective of their backgrounds and guiding towards a bright future. The school infrastructure consists of two classroom blocks. No library, No staff, Dining hall, No sanitary rooms and No Play ground, and limited Assembly area.
Due to limited classrooms we are unable to take in more students next year 2023 interested in joining our school. Our school community suggests construction of a new classroom block, students and staff accommodation to serve the purpose.
Our school has been facing some financial problems hence we have budgetary concerns to start the construction of new classrooms blocks before the end of this year to be ready to receive new students next year 2023. Therefore we are seeking financial support from esteemed institutions and individuals.
We want to build a boarding school in a peaceful rural area of Uganda. We want to create a family environment for underserved children where they can connect with nature, learn and play freely. We plan to purchase land to build boys and girls boarding rooms, facilities for bathing and latrines, a kitchen, and accommodations for staff and volunteers. The area will include farmable land and an animal barn to support dietary needs of the children.
In addition to our initiatives to enrich child education with cultural arts/music and sports we want to dedicate an area for performances and football (soccer). In 2013 we embarked on a construction project to build 2 large classrooms blocks to accommodate the growing enrolment. The buildings were completed except for plastering, and painting.
