Dear all,
I bring to you greetings from all students who have been sponsored over the years through this initiative. To be specfic the students who were supported last year to complete their primary seven classes are still sending their gratitude to you. The students joined Form 1 and they continue to perform very well though with some school fees challenges. However, they are forever grateful to Even Ground for the opportunity given to them to sit for their Primary Seven Leaving Exams. We continue to hear from them and all reports indicate that they are doing well at school.
Those who were in Senior section have also progressed to higher classes with the support of distant relatives.
We continue to register more students who are yearning for scholarship assistance and any welcome any scholorship assistance which we can directly channel to a new batch of needy students.
I am personally planning to establish a personal primary school which will offer some free scholarships to the needy pupils with in our areas. One of my aims is to support a relatively larger group of needy pupils more sustainably than relying on donations and grants. This plan is already underway - the first phase of land acquisition started in 2017 and construction will start in October 2018 and will run through the first half of 2019. The strategy is to enrol the first cohort of learners latest in January 2019.
