Dear well-wishers and sponsors,
Greetings from Friends In Need Integrated Development Project (FINIDP) Uganda.
I bring you greetings from our past sponsored children most of whom are gainfully employed as a result of the scholarships that enabled them get quality education up to vocational, university and tertiary education levels. As earlier indicated, the number of needy children yearning for quality education at primary, secondary and tertiary levels is always growing yet resources are limited. Therefore, one of the directors of FINIDP chose to start up a kindergarten and primary school in Wakiso district. Construction is in advanced stages with plans to start recruiting potential learners underway. The school should start running in the first academic term of 2020. Much as it is a purely privately owned school, the school will offer a certain percentage of bursaries/scholarships to academically promising children and this is envisaged to be a more sustainable plan to educating needy children. In our next project report we will share some pictures and more specific details about the proposed school.
On the other hand we continue to follow the progress made in the lives of our past students and they are all doing fine.
