Support Education and Livelihoods in rural Nepal

We have shared many personal, inspiring stories of how women have overcome great adversities and experienced true transformation with our livelihood project in Nepal. It truly is a joy for me to be sharing with you the effects of this project and how it is changing women’s position in society. Our leadership and skills training, means whilst also earning a regular income, women can rightfully have a place of influence within their community andmore importantly the freedom to choose what to do with their money and spare time. 

I felt it was pertinent to share with you, our supporters, the impact of this project, we have been shared from our team in Nepal. This way, you can see the numbers for yourself. With every individual this supports, it adds to overall change in the wider community. 

So far: 

• 45 women have engaged in agricultural training and are beginning to gain an income through agricultural business.  

• 15 women received a 3-month course in cutting, sewing training and business skills, to start their own business. 

• 60 women has completed a course on income generation. 

• 15 women have formed a collective to run their own tailoring business.  

• 45 women have received green vegetable training and taught how to earn a livelihood through this.  

These are just a few examples of how this project is creating change for women, this is thanks to your generous support.  

With your help, we can provide more opportunities for women in Nepal to have dignified livelihoods and lead their lives with choice.
