Project overview
This project is focused on providing medical insurance, scholastic materials and counseling to 121 children with disabilities or children born to parents with disabilities, providing entrepreneurial training to their parents and advocating for the inclusion of these children in local elementary schools.
Activity: Inclusive Education advocacy
Our team engage students in a local school in advocating for inclusive education where children with disabilities and other children were encouraged to study, play and eat together which helps those with disabilities to feel loved and manifest their abilities and talents as their fellows do.
Challenges
Limitedfunds remains a challenges to our activities. Our mission is to support all beneficiaries. However, we are not able to do so due to lack of enough funding. We therefore invite donors, fundraisers and partners to join us and we transform lives of these children together.
Way forward
Our team of volunteers will provide some scholastic materials to the most needy school going children. They will also continue to provide counseling services to children and their parents and guardians.
Conclusion
We sincerely thank our donors for their generosity; together, we look forward to continue transforming lives of children with disabilities or children born to parents with disabilities.
