Support flood victims in Mundri in South Sudan

Facilitating Action for Community Empowerment (FACE) mobilized hundreds of internally displaced persons in Mundri County who are currently facing acute humanitarian needs due to ongoing displacement and limited access to basic services. These vulnerable families lack adequate food, essential household items, basic dignity supplies necessary for daily survival. Through close community engagement and local coordination, FACE has identified and organized these displaced populations to ensure timely and accountable assistance. We are appealing to GlobalGiving to support these hundreds of displaced individuals with life-saving food items and critical non-food items. This support will restore dignity, reduce suffering, and strengthen community resilience.  

FACE South Sudan has supported flood-affected communities in Mundri by providing emergency relief assistance, including food items, basic household supplies, and other essential needs to vulnerable families who lost their homes and livelihoods. The recent floods have displaced many households, destroyed crops, and limited access to clean water, leaving people in urgent need of continued humanitarian support. While FACE has made significant efforts to ease their suffering, the needs on the ground remain overwhelming. More support from GlobalGiving is crucial to scale up assistance, restore dignity, and help the affected families recover and rebuild their lives in Mundri East County
