Together After the Storm: Thank You

By Dawid Jarzabek-Nowak | CEO of Clementine Foundation

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Although much time has passed since the September 2024 floods, the residents of affected areas are still grappling with the aftermath of this tragedy. While the disaster may no longer dominate headlines, its impact continues to shape their daily lives. Your invaluable help has enabled us to remain by their side, offering assistance where it is still urgently needed.

Several more buildings have been cleaned and restored. Our dedicated volunteers worked on 18 additional structures, including family homes and workshops that are vital to the livelihoods of local craftsmen. Each restored building brings these communities one step closer to reclaiming normalcy in their daily lives.
We have also focused on supporting families in their everyday challenges. Over the past weeks, we have assisted more than 30 families with administrative formalities, provided food parcels and cleaning supplies, and organized transportation for the elderly and children. These essential actions help ease the burden on affected households and pave the way to recovery.

In Stójków, we supported a family in the most challenging circumstances. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we provided them with a voucher for a hardware store, enabling them to purchase the materials needed to repair their home. This act of support meant that the children in the family could return to their rooms and once again enjoy learning in safe and comfortable conditions.

Every act of kindness reminds us of the transformative power of unity. Together, we are not only rebuilding homes but also restoring hope for a better future. Thank you for every donation, every hour of volunteer work, and every bit of encouragement you have given.

With continuous gratitude,
Clementine Foundation's Team
