Losing a loved one to cancer is emotionally devastating, and many families in Ghana struggle to cope without access to grief counseling or emotional support. This project will provide grief support groups, one-on-one counseling, and community healing sessions to help families process their loss, rebuild resilience, and find hope again.
Families who lose loved ones to cancer often experience deep emotional pain, depression, anxiety, and social isolation. In many communities, there are no grief counseling services to help them heal. Without proper support, families may struggle for years, affecting their well-being and stability.
This project will offer grief counseling sessions, peer support groups, and emotional healing workshops led by trained counselors and volunteers. These safe spaces will allow families to share experiences, receive guidance, and learn coping strategies for navigating loss.
The program will help families heal emotionally, restore stability, and reduce long-term mental health challenges. Over time, it will strengthen community resilience by creating supportive networks for those grieving loved ones lost to cancer.
