Support 80 abandoned children in Cape Town

We live in very different times and we are all affected by it .  Our children say thank you for your donations and for enabling their lives to be strengthened and developed.  All 14 of our school going children have moved on to the next grade for 2024.  That is such good news and you our Donors make it possible for us to give them the nurturing and development that is required.  There will never be sufficient words to express on behalf of the children the differenc you have made.  Jerry Giraffe plays an active role in their daily teaching in assisting with their behaviour and also their engagement with each other.  We are challenged at the moment with a child who had a stroke as a baby,  physically she does things differently to the rest of the children so we had to teach each other how to deal with her differences.  Jerry was instrumental as we could deal with emotions, the child refused to eat anything only wanted dry bread and bottled water.  After a couple of days we have moved on to her feeling more secure and comfortable.  She is showing the children how she copes with only having one hand that functions normally.  WE are grateful that daily we learn and we teach each other how best to cope with awkward situations.  Thank you for being that change and enabling us to make a difference.
