At Fikelela our vision is for children to be brought up in a family home. They stay with us for a short period as we believe that children should not become institutionalised.
At first we try to identify an extended family member, usually an aunt or grannie. if we cannot find one suitable or willing to take on the little one, then the children are placed with foster families.
Now we are exploring another option of permanent adoption. We are partnering with an adoption agency and the first five children are beginning the process of finding a new permanent loving home
