Like many children born in the northern regions of Syria, the young girl Islam lacked official documents, which kept her out of school despite being over six years old.
Thanks to your continuous support for the protection program at SEMA, one of our child-friendly centers in Al-Janoudiyah was able to manage this case through the "referral" system.
Islam was able to enroll in school after obtaining her necessary documents, in addition to receiving services from the center and attending psychological support sessions.
These challenges represent humanitarian difficulties that extend beyond medical or relief cases to include those associated with legal hurdles. This is precisely what your support and generosity have provided for our young children in the protection centers scattered across northern Syria.
