We are delighted to share the successful completion of the fundraising project aimed at supporting Vladislav Kovalev's participation in the FIDE World Rapid and Blitz Championships 2023 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. This project, initiated to overcome financial challenges faced by Kovalev due to his disassociation from the national chess federation, has been an inspiring testament to the power of community and collective impact.
We are thrilled to report that the project has not only met but exceeded its fundraising goal, successfully raising the necessary sum of $1600. This remarkable achievement has been made possible by the generosity and support of donors who rallied behind the cause of empowering Vladislav Kovalev on the international chess stage.
The funds raised have directly contributed to covering these expenses, ensuring that Vladislav Kovalev could focus solely on his game and represent not only himself but also the values of resilience and courage in the face of adversity.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all the donors who generously contributed to this project. Your support has not only made Vladislav Kovalev's participation in the FIDE World Rapid and Blitz Championships 2023 a reality but has also championed the cause of chess, resilience, and individual freedom.
Thank you for being an integral part of this remarkable journey.
