Project Overview

Blindness due to cataracts is one of the most prevalent — and tragically curable — causes of vision loss in Pakistan. Millions suffer needlessly, especially those in low-income communities with no access to eye care. At Fatima Memorial Hospital, your support helps us perform free cataract surgeries for the most vulnerable, restoring not just vision, but dignity and independence.

Impact Update (April–June 2025)

• We successfully conducted dozens of sight-restoring cataract procedures in Lahore and its surrounding areas.
• Each surgery was performed by qualified ophthalmic surgeons using safe and approved techniques.
• All patients received pre-operative assessments and post-operative care without any cost to them.
• We prioritized patients from rural and peri-urban communities where access to specialized eye care is nearly nonexistent.
• Transportation and support services were also provided in partnership with local outreach teams.
