COVID-19 pandemic is threatening everyone's way of life worldwide, but for those living in poverty, the potential impact is massive. Your donation to this fund will help stop COVID-19 spread and help to provide - face mask, hand-sanitizer, soap + handwashing buckets with tap and food parcels to help 1000 vulnerable families in Nigeria to survive, during one of the most challenging time we have collectively faced.
As COVID-19 spreads, it poses a grave danger to vulnerable people. It is driving families deeper into hunger and poverty. Restriction lockdown for COVID-19 in Nigeria which made people sit at home makes it impossible for 1000 vulnerable families to work and earn income for keeping their families as most of them live on day-to-day earning to feed their families and don't have savings to bulk purchase necessities. They have no way to provide for basic food + hygiene needs for prevention of covid-
Our 29 + years of working in these communities gives us the ability to reach families quickly and provide them with food & hygiene packs to help them survive. Your donation will help us to head-off disaster by delivering face mask, hand sanitizer, soap, and handwashing buckets with tap and food parcel to feed 1000 vulnerable families, capable of feeding family of 7 for 2 weeks, following safety guidelines and social distancing.
COVID-19 will have long-lasting economic consequences, especially for those in poverty. Your support will help the most vulnerable families survive this pandemic. The food packs will provide essential nutrition, and the provision of soap and hand washing buckets with taps will mean they can practice the correct hygiene practices and curb the spread of COVID-19 Our long-term livelihood support will ensure families have the economic means to sustain themselves after the pandemic ends.
