SUPPORT GAZA CHILD WITH A MEAL

Summary

Boarder Network WE is deeply moved with the food shortage in Gaza. This has developed into another crisis on the people of Gaza, especially children. The Project is sourcing funds that will be used to locally procure Soya Beans and mill it in order to ship the soya-flour to Gaza. We will deliver through reliable authorised organisations who would receive the flour and distribute to the right needy children. Please, humbly support the initiative to save the life of starving children in Gaza.

Challenge

Catastrophic hunger is so dire in Gaza that famine is imminent. Hundreds of thousands of people are struggling to find food and avoid starvation, especially children. This is according to food security experts and aid groups who are warning about the toll from hunger caused by the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Every resident is struggling to get food and the suituation is worse with children. Half the population is expected to face the highest level of severe hunger in coming months.

Solution

The Project plans to buy Soya Beans from their local communities in Malawi. Once Soya Beans is bought, they will be processed to make Soya Flour. This Soya Flour will be shipped to Gaza so that the people of Gaza would be able to cook food with it. Soya Flour is also very good and healthy to make a meal, especially for children. We are determined that this would help solve a hunger threat that is in Gaza. With this Project, many children in Gaza would be saved from preventable malnutrition.

Long-Term Impact

Boarder Network WE considers to hire some estates in Malawi where it can farm its own Soya Beans throughout the year. However, this also would require enough resources but once resources are available, it is achievable. Many tones of Soya Beans can be harvested three times a year and this would increase the supply of Soya Flour to Gaza for quite sometime. This would also give consistency in making the product available. Therefore, resources will, this is our best earmarked long term plan.
