Support HIV+ Orphans with Life-Saving Food items

Summary

HIV+ orphans in Nigeria face hunger, malnutrition, and weakened immunity. This project provides nutritious meals through food banks, ensuring these vulnerable children survive, grow stronger, and attend school. Every meal brings hope, health, and a chance at a better future.

Challenge

Many HIV+ orphans lack access to sufficient food, leaving them malnourished and vulnerable to illness. Hunger worsens their health, limits school attendance, and reduces their chances of living a full, productive life. Families and caregivers often cannot afford nutritious food.

Solution

We will establish food banks across Nigeria to provide nutritious meals and regular food support to HIV+ orphans. Each child receives meals tailored to their nutritional needs, ensuring better health, growth, and resilience. The program also includes training caregivers on balanced diets.

Long-Term Impact

Reduction of malnutrition and improve health among HIV+ orphans, increase school attendance and learning capacity, strengthen caregivers' capacity to provide balanced nutrition, promote sustainability of local food support initiatives, and empower communities to care for vulnerable children
