17 children in need are currently in the care of our amazing housemothers at Diani Children's Village (DCV). These housemothers support the children, ensuring they have a clean, secure, and comfortable place to live. DCV supports the housemothers wherever they can, including covering their own children's schools fees, providing them with access to good healthcare, etc. This project will support six housemothers in their personal family lives for the next year.
There are currently six housemothers working at Diani Children's Village. In addition to providing a modest salary, DCV is supporting these mothers in the care and success of their own families, covering education, health, and other costs. Unfortunately, it's not always possible to support them because of the high costs that are involved.
With this project, we can support DCV's six housemothers for the next year. It will make it possible to send their children to school, ensure that the mothers are in good health and give them other required support. This is important because the stronger position they are in their personal lives, the better they will be able to care for the children at DCV.
Not only will this project support the success of six housemothers, but it will ultimately improve the support of the children of DCV. Healthy and stress-free housemothers will ensure the environment at DCV is stable and positive, which will help these children thrive as they grow.
