Life-Saving Food, Water & Medical Aid for Families

As temperatures rise sharply across Gaza, displaced families living in Al-Aqsa Camp in Deir al-Balah are facing an increasingly urgent struggle to access enough safe drinking water.

The extreme heat has made daily life inside tents and temporary shelters especially difficult. Children, elderly people, widows, and vulnerable residents are exposed to long hours of high temperatures while families already face a severe shortage of clean drinking water.

In response to this urgent need, our team carried out a distribution of safe drinking water directly to displaced families in Al-Aqsa Camp. The assistance helped families secure essential water for drinking and hydration during days when the intense heat places additional pressure on already vulnerable households.

For families living through displacement, access to clean water cannot be taken for granted. Parents worry about having enough water for their children, while elderly people and those with health vulnerabilities may be especially affected by prolonged heat and insufficient hydration.

Every delivery of clean water provides immediate relief. It helps families endure the heat, reduces the daily burden of searching for safe water, and gives parents reassurance that their children have access to one of life's most basic necessities.

The need remains significant. As high temperatures continue and access to drinking water remains limited, displaced families require ongoing support to meet this essential daily need.

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to distribute freshly prepared hot meals to displaced families living in Abu Jumeiza Camp in Deir al-Balah, Gaza.

Families in the camp continue to face severe humanitarian conditions, including food shortages, displacement, and limited access to basic necessities. Many households include children, widows, elderly people, and families with little or no stable income, making it extremely difficult to secure enough food each day.

To increase the impact of this distribution, we provided double-portion meals, with each meal designed to serve two family members. This allowed families to receive a larger and more meaningful amount of food, helping them cover more than one person’s immediate needs.

For parents and caregivers, receiving a double meal meant being able to feed more members of the household without having to divide a small portion among several people. For children and elderly residents, it provided warm, ready-to-eat food at a time when preparing a proper meal can be extremely difficult.

These meals offered more than nourishment. They brought relief from hunger, reduced daily pressure on families, and provided a sense of dignity and care during a period of uncertainty and hardship.

Your support made it possible for our team to reach vulnerable households directly inside the camp and respond to one of their most urgent needs.
