When Water Becomes a Daily Need That Cannot Wait - Al-Aqsa Camp in Deir al-Balah

By AMAL ALUMMA ORGANIZATION INC | project Leader

Displaced families in Al-Aqsa Camp in Deir al-Balah, Gaza Strip, continue to struggle to access safe drinking water. Difficult humanitarian conditions and limited resources have made water one of the most urgent needs inside the camp.

Many families are unable to purchase water regularly, while households with children and elderly family members need a reliable supply of safe water every day. With each passing day, searching for water becomes another burden added to the hardship of displacement and the loss of stability.

As part of our humanitarian response, we provided clean drinking water and distributed it directly to families inside the camp, helping meet part of their daily needs and easing some of their hardship.

For the families, this distribution meant more than simply receiving water. It brought relief after long periods of waiting, reassurance for a mother able to give her children safe water, and support for families facing circumstances beyond their ability to manage alone.

Providing clean water remains one of the most important forms of humanitarian assistance in these conditions because it is directly connected to health, dignity, and the ability to keep going.

Because of your support, water reached families who urgently needed it, along with the reassurance that they have not been forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. Your donations become clean water, relief, health, and real hope for displaced families in Gaza.
