Amid the harsh conditions faced by displaced families in northern Gaza—where freezing temperatures threaten lives inside fragile tents—our teams, thanks to your generous support, were able to provide life-impacting assistance with a direct medical benefit to Haitham’s family by supplying them with firewood for heating.

Haitham lives with his parents and two younger siblings in a displacement camp. His mother suffers from a bone disease that causes severe pain, which significantly worsens when exposed to cold. For her, warmth is not a luxury—it is a critical medical necessity. Continued exposure to cold could lead to serious health complications and further deterioration of her condition.

Thanks to this support, the family is now able to create a warmer environment inside their tent. This helps relieve the mother’s pain, prevents further health decline, and protects the children from cold-related illnesses.
