At Equitable Medicaid and Clinical Research, we spend heavily renting cameras to document our fieldwork in rural and unserved communities. Due to the high cost, we often work without video coverage, leaving many stories untold. With your support, we plan to purchase a Canon EOS R5 Mark II and essential gear for quality photo and video production. This will allow us to share real stories, show our progress, and highlight the daily realities of the communities we serve across Nigeria.
Our team covers programs in rural and unserved communities where vital stories often go undocumented. The high cost of renting cameras and video tools limits our ability to record and share our work. Without proper media tools, our achievements and community impact remain unseen. This lack of visibility affects how we attract donors, raise awareness, and inspire public interest in the health and social challenges we work to address daily.
This project will provide us with a Canon EOS R5 Mark II, lenses, microphones, lighting kits, storage drives, and stabilizers. These tools will help us record professional photos and videos directly in the field without relying on expensive rentals. Having our own equipment ensures we can document every project activity, share updates regularly, produce short films, and present transparent results that reflect the real efforts happening in hard-to-reach communities.
With full media equipment, our nonprofit will consistently document and share stories from neglected areas across Nigeria. This visibility will improve public awareness, donor confidence, and partnerships with local and global organizations. The ability to produce quality media content will also help train young volunteers in storytelling and media skills to creates lasting value beyond this project and sustaining our communication capacity for years.
