Continuing its mission, Facilitating Action for Community Empowerment (FACE) extended support to Refugees and Returnees, distributing essential non-food items such as buckets and washing soap. Funded by Response Rapid Funds through the International Organization for Migration (RRF/IOM), this initiative targeted 1,123, individuals including women and Youth in Longechuk County, Upper Nile State. Beyond item distribution, FACE restored 16 boreholes, providing safe drinking water to both the host community and Sudanese crisis-affected Returnees and Refugees. Furthermore, FACE imparted crucial skills and knowledge to locals, promoting hygiene practices in households, market places, hospitals, around boreholes and school fostering community resilience and well-being.
