FACE, with generous support from GlobalGiving, provided critical humanitarian assistance to refugees and returnees in South Sudan. A total of 60 schoolgirls received sanitary pads, washing soap, and lotion to promote hygiene and dignity, enabling them to attend school with confidence. In addition, 130 single mothers and widows were supported with buckets and washing soap to improve household sanitation. These beneficiaries were primarily refugees who fled from Sudan and are struggling to rebuild their daily lives. While this intervention made a significant impact, the needs remain overwhelming. More support is urgently required to reach a larger number of vulnerable groups.
