A disease outbreak does not begin in a hospital. It often begins with something as simple—and as devastating—as a child drinking contaminated water.
Across conflict-affected communities in Benue State, families are struggling to survive without access to safe drinking water. Destroyed infrastructure, repeated displacement, and recurring humanitarian crises have left thousands of people relying on unsafe water sources that expose entire communities to cholera, acute watery diarrhoea, typhoid fever, and other preventable illnesses.
For children whose immune systems are already weakened by conflict and malnutrition, these diseases can become deadly within days. This is an emergency—but it is also an emergency we can prevent.
GoGreen is working with vulnerable communities to restore safe water systems before another outbreak claims more lives. Every rehabilitated borehole provides immediate protection for hundreds of families while strengthening long-term community resilience.
Your Gift Saves Lives
Safe water protects children from preventable diseases. Healthy children can return to school instead of hospital beds. Communities recovering from conflict gain hope, dignity, and resilience. Today, your generosity can stop disease before it spreads. You can help replace contaminated water with clean water. You can help protect mothers from impossible choices.
You can help ensure that children survive today and thrive tomorrow. When emergencies strike, every moment matters.
Please stand with GoGreen as we respond to this urgent water crisis. Together, we can prevent the next outbreak before it begins.
