After enduring years of conflict and upheaval, the people of Ortese have shown remarkable strength and determination. Families are returning to their homes, children are stepping back into classrooms, and communities are beginning the difficult work of rebuilding what was lost. Yet despite all this progress, there remains a vital missing piece—access to safe, clean water.
Without reliable clean water, the recovery in Ortese remains painfully fragile. Every illness caused by contaminated water sets families back, taking away precious time and resources, and making it harder for children to attend school or for parents to work and provide. The threat of waterborne diseases continues to hang over the community, threatening to undo the progress being made and deepening the hardships faced by those who have already suffered so much.
Your support can help fill this critical gap. By providing safe drinking water, promoting healthy hygiene practices, and empowering the community to safeguard these resources, we can help ensure that the recovery in Ortese is not only possible, but sustainable. Clean water will lay the foundation for health, education, and renewed hope for generations to come.
Your compassion can turn uncertainty into strength, and hardship into hope. Today, your gift can be the reason a child drinks clean water, stays healthy, and looks to the future with confidence. Please make a donation through GlobalGiving and help hope flow once again in Ortese.
