Support Educational Spaces for 200 Kids in Iraq

By Nayef Sabri | President

Sunrise has been providing support to children effectively, and we are happy to share the story of the 6-year-old child with autism named "X" (a fictitious name) by providing comprehensive and individualized support. The organization began by conducting a thorough assessment and diagnosis to understand the child's needs. Based on the results, an individualized treatment program focused on enhancing his communication and social skills. Recognizing the importance of family involvement, Sunrise provided support and training to the family, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage the child's condition. Additionally, we organized recreational and educational activities to create engaging learning opportunities and improve his social and communication abilities.

As a result of these tailored interventions, the child experienced significant improvements. His communication skills were notably enhanced, allowing him to express his needs more effectively. He also became more socially adept, interacting comfortably with others and displaying noticeable progress in social skills. The family observed a boost in his self-confidence, with the child showing increased willingness to participate in various activities. Moreover, his academic performance improved as he became more receptive to educational activities and learning opportunities.

The child was able to overcome many challenges associated with autism, leading to positive and lasting changes in his life. This success story highlights the importance of individualized support and holistic approaches in improving the lives of children with autism.
