Greetings and Namaste to you all,
We send this report to you with the hope that you are safe and well.
Here Rescue Junction has been classed as an essential emergency service and I want to recognise and thank our brave staff for continuing to work under these unique circumstances. We have been issued with emergency passes and the centre has remained fully open to respond to reports of abuse, lost and children in trouble across the district. We have faced extra expenses in providing PPE and we have had to adjust our accommodation to take into account social distancing but not a day of our vitally important services has been missed.
People First has taken initiative and provide food materials for 201 poor families who lost their work in our working areas in Gaya district in Bihar because of lock down due to prevention of covid -19 and handed over all the food materials to district administration for peacefully distribution among the most needy families. Thanks for all team members who have provide their support for packaging and distribution.
We thank you as ever for your wonderful support and we will be sending you further updates very soon.
Your help is needed more than ever.
With best wishes
Riya
