Urgent: Attacks on Education, Your Help Matters

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

We would like to express our deep concern about the recent tragic developments directly affecting our communities, particularly in the village of Ketyan, north of Aleppo. There, the continuous bombing of educational facilities has caused significant damage, not only to buildings and facilities but also to the hopes and dreams of students who consider these schools their sanctuary and source of inspiration.

The impact on the psyche and safety of the children in northern Syria goes beyond material loss. It extends to our children's mental health. These repeated attacks have left behind deep anxiety and fear, hindering the students' ability to learn and grow normally. Many of them now suffer from psychological trauma, requiring special care and support to overcome.

With your help Masarat Initiative stands at the forefront in addressing these challenges. We are committed to providing the necessary psychological and educational support to these students, working tirelessly to create a safe and supportive environment to help them overcome these traumas and enhance their resilience.

Through your generous support and continuous contributions, we have succeeded in keeping education a priority for our children, even under these difficult circumstances. Remote learning, enabled by your contributions, breaks down geographical and security barriers and ensures the continuity of education for our children, helping to maintain their educational and psychological stability.

Your continued support today with our students in these times, is more important than ever.
