In May 2026, Wonders International continued supporting coffee farmers in northern Laos through sustainable farming training and the distribution of eco-friendly fertilizers.
As part of our effort to reduce slash-and-burn farming and promote environmentally responsible agriculture, farmers participated in training sessions on sustainable coffee cultivation and proper fertilizer application. These sessions emphasized how eco-friendly farming practices can improve soil health, strengthen coffee trees, and increase long-term productivity without relying on destructive land-clearing methods.
Following the training, farmers received eco-friendly fertilizers to apply the knowledge directly in their coffee fields. Village coordinators were also provided with monitoring tools and guidance to support follow-up activities and encourage proper fertilizer use throughout the growing season.
By combining practical training with environmentally friendly agricultural inputs, this initiative helps farming families improve coffee production while protecting the forests and natural resources that sustain their communities.
Thank you for supporting sustainable coffee farming in Laos. Your generosity is helping farmers build resilient livelihoods while creating alternatives to slash-and-burn agriculture.
Warm regards,
Wonders International
