Sometimes, opportunity begins with a piano in the middle of the mountains.
Brahian grew up in Pantanillo, a small rural community (vereda) in the city of El Retiro, Antioquia. Proud of his roots, he traveled from his hometown to study music at EAFIT, carrying with him not only his talent, but also the dreams of a young student determined to build a different future.
Thanks to the Sofía Pérez de Soto scholarship and the support of people like you, Brahian was able to pursue his education and transform his passion into a life-changing opportunity.

Today, after graduating from the bachelor's of music at EAFIT, Brahian is preparing for his next chapter: traveling to the United States to continue his studies with a Master of Music in Piano Performance.

A veces, las oportunidades comienzan con un piano en medio de las montañas.
Brahiannació y creció en Pantanillo, una vereda del municipio de El Retiro, Antioquia. Orgulloso de sus raíces, viajó desde su hogar para estudiar música en EAFIT, llevando consigo no solo su talento, sino también los sueños de un joven decidido a construir un futuro diferente.
Gracias a la beca Sofía Pérez de Soto y al apoyo de personas como tú, Brahian pudo acceder a una educación que transformó su pasión en una oportunidad que cambió su vida.
