In 2023, the European LGBTI movement faced many challenges, but we persisted in being ever more visible, organised and powerful. We called out anti-LGBTI hate crimes, never forgetting the victims; we continued to fight for our legal rights; and amid growing opposition from the far-right, we showed incredible strength and resilience.
Throughout the year, ILGA-Europe's 25 staff members have been constantly working on a myriad of projects and initiatives to contribute to change for LGBTI people in Europe and Central Asia. Such an incredible amount of work carried out to support frontline LGBTI activists and push for new and better legislation would not be possible without supporters like you.
