Facilitating Action for Community Empowerment implemented a training program for household farmers in Juba on small-scale home farming through irrigation using water from the River Nile. The initiative aimed to strengthen household food production and improve community resilience to hunger. FACE supported local farmers by providing irrigation pumps and a generator to facilitate water pumping for vegetable cultivation. Through the training, participants gained practical skills in vegetable farming and efficient irrigation practices. As a result, many households are now able to grow vegetables at home, improving food availability and nutrition. This initiative has contributed to reducing hunger and strengthening livelihoods.
