FACE and STOR are currently distributing food items to 1,000 International Displaced Persons in South Sudan. The humanitarian budget has been cut off significantly impacted the Refugees and Returnees IDPs families lives leading to a severe food security situation. South Sudan is grappling with widespread flooding, putting food security at serious risk, and many families are now facing the prospect of only one meal a day which is not healthy. This heightened vulnerability increases the risk of diseases and malnutrition, particularly among children and pregnant women. Urgent action is required to address the pressing food security needs in South Sudan.
