In Ataa Camp, located in the countryside of Jarabulus in northern Syria, two young orphaned sisters, Masa and Fatima, live with their mother in a small tent. They lost their father to the brutal war that shattered the lives and dreams of thousands of Syrian children.

Masa, just 9 years old, and her younger sister Fatima are growing up in a harsh environment that lacks the basic elements of a safe childhood—no warm bed, no toys, no nearby school—only a fragile tent that barely shields them from the scorching heat and bitter cold, and a mother who fights daily to provide them with a simple meal.

Thanks to your generous donations, we at Umut Uluslararas Hayr Dernegi were able to provide regular financial sponsorship for Masa and Fatima. This support helped their mother:

• Purchase essential food supplies
• Buy proper summer clothing
• Cover part of the family's daily medical and living expenses

In one of the informal camps in the rural areas of Jarablus, northern Syria, lives the orphaned child Wissam with his mother and younger sister Fatima, enduring extremely harsh humanitarian conditions. Wissam lost his father during the war, and his mother has since become the sole provider for the family, despite the lack of resources and the difficulty of life in a tent lacking even the most basic necessities.

As part of the ongoing efforts of Umut Uluslararas Hayr Dernegi to support orphans and affected families, a financial sponsorship was distributed this month to Wissam’s family—thanks to your generous donations.
