Provide a model of comprehensive care for children and adolescents living with type 1 diabetes in Mexico by providing monthly appointments in nutrition, diabetes education and psychology, as well as offering supplies for monitoring their glucose (glucometer, blood glucose test strips and lancets), also syringes and needles for insulin application, reducing the risk of acute and chronic complications.
Type 1 diabetes cannot be prevented and has no cure; The diagnosis is sudden, so immediately, it should be started with attention in the areas of diabetes education, nutrition and psychology. In most hospitals and clinics in the health sector in Mexico, this type of care is neither provided nor supplies for self-monitoring of glucose, increasing the risk of acute (hyper and hypoglycemic) and chronic complications (kidney damage, glaucoma, cardiovascular damage, and neuropathies)

Providing monthly blood glucose monitoring supplies necessary to adjust carbohydrate intake and detect acute complications (hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia)
Empowering children and adolescents with correct knowledge for the management and control of their condition, reducing the risk of suffering acute and chronic complications that affect their quality of life
