Blind children are highly vulnerable for multidimensional challenges throughout of their life journey. Unfriendly Bldg. & infrastructure( like detaches left opened, bridges) so that, they are persuaded to have human guide. But, it is not easy to get assistance. & after all these challenge, 20 students of Hogoba school face challenges, school community and teachers doesn't aware and trained about special need education, educational tool. Thats why they need integrated & immediate support.
Buildings and infrastructure are not accessible for blind students and being a challenge for blinds to exposed for additional costs like human guide even though it is not easy to access, absence of free white cane distribution, absence of blind friendly school support material, limited supply of braille and audio devices, skill and knowledge of school community about how to handle and communication blinds .
Through offering assistive technological devices and equipped them with the necessary skills it will enable to to create access to use the materials and knows how to use it. Similarly, Day and night clothes will be distributed to them as they can't afford to purchase clothes due to their economic status. Meaningful community engagement will also promoted especially during organizing blind children biography that to be used for finding family sponsor around their areas.
Beside the immidiate result expected, this project will contributes for the regional and country level about creating suitable favorable living and learning environment for blind students.
