From Hunger to Hope: Thank You for Saving Children's Lives!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

Because of your generosity and compassion, hundreds of children suffering from malnutrition in northern Syria have received lifesaving treatment and a second chance at a healthy future.

Malnutrition remains one of the most serious threats facing children in conflict-affected communities. For families struggling with displacement, poverty, and food insecurity, accessing specialized nutritional care is often impossible. Without timely intervention, malnutrition can lead to severe health complications and, in some cases, become life-threatening.

Thanks to your support, SEMA's medical teams have been able to provide essential treatment, nutritional rehabilitation, medical follow-up, and ongoing care to vulnerable children in need. Your donations are helping children recover, regain their strength, and return to the joyful milestones of childhood.

One of these children is Amany, a 9-month-old baby girl who arrived at our nutrition program suffering from severe acute malnutrition caused by the extreme hardship her family was facing. Through the dedication of SEMA's healthcare teams and the generosity of supporters like you, Amany received the specialized treatment and care she urgently needed.

Today, Amany has made a full recovery. What was once a story of fear and uncertainty has become a story of resilience, healing, and hope.

Amany is just one of the many children whose lives have been transformed because of your kindness. Behind every recovery is a donor who chose to act, to care, and to stand beside families during their most difficult moments.

Thank you for helping us save lives and restore hope for children across northern Syria. Your support is creating healthier futures, one child at a time.

With heartfelt gratitude,
