Dear Supporter,
We are grateful to share another life-saving medical success made possible through your support.
A 25-year-old man arrived at the Specialized Surgical Hospital in Idlib suffering from severe bleeding in his thigh following multiple orthopedic surgeries performed after a traumatic injury.
His condition was critical, and the bleeding was continuing.
Rather than subjecting him to a major, high-risk operation, the medical team urgently transferred him to the vascular intervention unit. Under local anesthesia, specialists performed a minimally invasive catheter-based procedure through the femoral artery.
Advanced imaging revealed a pseudoaneurysm caused by damage to a branch of the deep femoral artery—the direct source of the bleeding.
The team immediately carried out a highly precise embolization procedure, using coils to close the injured area and stop the bleeding while fully preserving the main artery.
The intervention was successful.
The bleeding was brought under control, the patient’s life was saved, and he was spared a large surgical operation that could have carried serious risks and complications.
After the procedure, he was transferred to intensive care for close monitoring, blood replacement, and continued recovery.
This success reflects the importance of advanced vascular care in treating complex and life-threatening conditions safely and effectively.
Your contributions help make this level of care available to patients when every minute matters.
Because of your generosity, skilled medical teams can continue using advanced techniques, essential equipment, and life-saving supplies to treat critical cases across northern Syria.
Thank you for standing behind the doctors who act in the most urgent moments—and behind the patients whose lives depend on their expertise.
Your support does more than fund treatment. It gives medical teams the power to stop a crisis before it becomes a tragedy.
With heartfelt gratitude,
