Your Support Helped Baby Junaid Recover and Return Home Safely!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

Thank you for helping protect the most fragile lives in northern Syria. Your generosity gives newborn babies access to urgent medical care at the moments when they are most vulnerable.

Junaid was a long-awaited blessing for his family. After 12 years of waiting, his parents welcomed him and his twin brother with overwhelming joy.

But that joy was soon mixed with fear.

Born prematurely at only 36 weeks, Junaid developed jaundice and urgently needed specialized medical attention. He was transferred immediately to one of SEMA’s hospitals, where our medical team admitted him to the neonatal intensive care unit and began treatment without delay.

Under the close supervision of our doctors and nurses, Junaid’s condition gradually improved. He responded well to treatment and eventually made a full recovery.

Today, he is safe and back with his family.

Your donations made this possible. They helped provide the intensive care, medical treatment, equipment, and continuous monitoring that Junaid needed during the most critical days of his young life.

Junaid is one of dozens of newborns who have received life-saving treatment through your support. For their families, your compassion means reassurance in a moment of fear and hope after years of hardship.

Thank you for standing beside newborn babies and their parents in northern Syria.

Please continue supporting SEMA’s neonatal and emergency medical services so that more fragile babies can receive treatment before it is too late.

Because of you, a long-awaited child recovered, a family’s hope was protected, and another innocent life was given the chance to grow.

With heartfelt gratitude,
